This is one of the oldest guild fairs in all Catalunya and has been held uninterruptedly since 1822. On the Sunday following the festivity of Sant Antoni, the Antic Gremi de Traginers d’Igualada (Ancient Guild of Muleteers of Igualada) reminds us of the extraordinary role played by carts and animals in the development of cities. The parade provides an opportunity to recall our roots in the form of overflowing carts, carefully groomed horses and the old stagecoach of Igualada, a veritable spectacle that is not to be missed.
